Lights will guide you home.
Hi. I'm Quinn Fabray.
There's not really much to say about me, except that I'm 22, unmarried and I followed the person I loved to New York. Obviously, I do impulsive things of this sort, but when you love something you have to take a risk right?

Working a boring office job to pay the bills.
Painfully bored.

Small girl in a big city.: Reunited and it feels so good. // Faberry

As Quinn and Rachel sat down next to each other, Lara was called up to backstage to help with lighting and sound, leaving the two alone. But Rachel was glad they got to meet for a moment. As they dug into the sandwiches Rachel started pointing out who everyone was, and who they were playing. She looked at Quinn for a second, seeing how closely she was listening and was surprised at that.

As she felt Quinns hand on her leg her stomach did flips. “I- uh. I missed you too Quinn” Rachel smiled, trying to seem confident. But on the inside she was going crazy. She had a crush on Quinn in high school but never did a thing about it, and even though she had made a pact with herself a mere week ago to stay single for as long as possible, there was a huge part of her that wanted to grab Quinns hand and hold it, and point it out to everyone that walked by. No. No, Rachel Berry pull yourself together. Just because you liked her in high school doesn’t mean a thing. Oh but she smells like peppermint and looks like an angel. No, Rachel what are you doing. Rachel moved around in her seat a little, and continued chatting to Quinn about what she’d been up to since they last spoke in high school, and questioned Quinn on her adventures. She felt… comfortable.

Lord, this girl was going to give her a heart attack. A bigger grin spread on her face as she told her she had missed her. It was such a simple statement, simple words but they meant so much to her. More so, since she moved to New York in hopes of this moment. They say sometimes the fantasies you create in your head can never measure up with the reality, but this as so much better than she could have ever imagined.

She caught Rachel up on the past few years of her life, leaving out obvious intricate details, after all she’d just gotten out of a relationship, Quinn couldn’t expect to just waltz back into her life and swoop her into her arms… As appealing as that sounded. No, she kept it basic. I moved to New York for school. Which was partly true, in reality, even if she hadn’t had school, she would have still flown off to New York. It was Rachel after all. Rachel who had the stars in her eyes, and that tender heart. The lighting seemed to bounce off the stage and land on her cheeks, hair, eyes. Quinn wanted nothing more than to wrap her hand around her neck and shut that incessant talking with her lips. She breathed out heavily, trying to push that thought out of her head. “You look beautiful Rach. Have I told you that yet?” She gave her another wide smile.

Rachel heard the door of the auditorium open as she was half-way through the last verse of the song, and since the lights were so bright on her she couldn’t know if it was or not, so she just continued to sing. As she finished the last long note, the spotlight dimmed and she was told she could go back and sit down.

Walking down the stairs, the remembered that someone had come in, and she looked around excitedly and saw a familiar, and very missed, face. She beamed as Quinn spoke to her. “Well, I do my best! What can I say?” Rachel said as she flipped her hair in a joking manner before hugging Quinn, “Its been far too long since I’ve seen you! And to think, we’ve been only blocks away from each other this whole time!” She looked at Quinn, noticing how gorgeous she looked. This wasn’t a surprise to her, Quinn had always been breathtaking. But as it had been years she was amazed, she thought that the longer you waited to see someone, you build up how great they look in your head, and you get disappointed. But in this case, she was better than she imagined.

As she sat down with Quinn, she offered her a sandwich and they began chatting about everything that had been going on.

Rolled her eyes playfully as she laughed at her diva motions. God, she’d missed her. Of course, that had been clear to her before, but it was somehow made all the more real when she was being enveloped by the warmth of the girl, her hair coming too close to her face as she wrapped her arms too tightly around her. Her nose welcomed the familiar and missed scent, and she was pleased to find she apparently had the same strawberry shampoo she’d always had, but underneath that there was perfume, and even lower than that was her natural scent of vanilla and honey.

Quinn followed her to where she was sitting, She grabbed a sandwich from her and started to eat it as she listened attentively to all the exciting things she’d missed out on. Hell, it irked her to no end knowing just how close the two had been this whole time. Fate was often a cruel mistress, teasing and taunting us until it thought we were ready to finally crash into someone you’d been searching for. The more Rachel talked, the more Quinn listened, capturing her voice tightly in her mind, as if it were a voice recorder and she could play it back later. Just the way she said her name was enough to make a dopey smile fall on her again.

“You know, I really missed you Rachel.” She shot her a smile and moved her hand to her knee, which she patted awkwardly before pulling her hand back to her.  You’re Quinn Fabray, you don’t get nervous. Pull it together.

Reunited and it feels so good. // Faberry

Maybe it was a little desperate, but then again, desperation would be a perfect way to describe the past few years of her life. She moved to New York and busted her ass, just to be able to be near the girl, praying for a chance encounter. Granted, she’d never expected the internet to provide her with one, but who was she to be picky. She had been waiting too long for this chance, and she definitely wasn’t going to pass it up.

She hopped up from the sofa and went in search of something acceptable to wear. What was proper attire when you were going to see the woman you loved? She groaned as she threw clothes all around her room, finally finding a simple dress, and topping it with a jacket, since the weather had begun to drop. She bit her lip as she stepped out into the chilly air, headed toward her theatre.

Quinn apparently had impeccable timing, because even having gotten lost, she managed to walk in just as she was on stage, as she always imagined her. The spotlight lit up her face, and she could tell how truly happy and at peace she was. Her face, gave way to all the emotions in the song, and it took Quinn all her strength to remain standing. Her eyes fell upon the girl in sheer adoration. God, had she gotten more beautiful? Was that even possible. She caught her breath as she watched Rachel descend the stairs and she walked over, an overly happy smile upon her lips. “Great job as usual Ms. Berry.”
